I recently ran across a .cmtx module that I wanted to share with everyone in spite of it's possible need of proofreading. It is the NEW TSKe - "Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, Enhanced & Expanded."
Those who are interested in the details of this very helpful project should go here - http://bibleanalyzer.com/tske-copy.htm. Timothy Morton has taken the time to "reciprocate" the public domain version of the TSK. His "expansion" and "enhancement" includes an extra 100,000 cross references. Quite nice. (He has also added thousands of extra references that are not "reciprocations.")
The conversion to eS/TW that we provide here on DDT.com was actually made by eSU member "Dyan." This quote comes from Dyan's post about it:
- I have found an excellent resource for e-sword at https://sites.google.com/site/wsbones/, it is the TSK enhanced version by Tim Morton. Please read the conditions and copyright notice. It is in raw text form in htm format (i'm not sure, i'm no expert), so if someone would like to convert it, it would really be a great blessing to all e-sword users. I've done a conversion myself, for my own personal use, but it may contain a lot of errors.
So, there may be a few booboos in it. On 10/23/2010, eSU member "Will Brinson Ferguson" posted two errors to the TSKe text at eSU. He found two places where a foreign language word did not get transferred over from TSK to TSKe.
So, what we have is an incredibly helpful commentary module that could use a proofread. The proofreading of this project is larger than I am willing to tackle; and I am unwilling to ask any of OMLB to proofread it, either.
I think this module is very helpful and productive as is, but if one of our users would like to get started in a large proofreading job, the entire eSword and The Word communities would be quite grateful.
"Dyan," thank you for making this module available to us.
